Walter Alarkon
Walter is a Senior Associate at Orrick. He is currently serving as the 2021 Orrick Racial Justice Fellow at Common Future, where he acts as legal counsel on transactions led by Common Future to deploy capital to underrepresented social entrepreneurs in underserved communities. Prior to practicing law, he was a journalist covering economics at The Hill and working with author Michael Grunwald on The New New Deal (Simon & Schuster, 2013), which documented the legacy of President Obama’s $800 billion economic stimulus. He has also written for Newsweek, The Concord (N.H.) Monitor and The Boston Globe. He has degrees from Boston College, the Columbia University School of Journalism and Georgetown University Law Center.
Natasia de Silva
A former tenants' rights attorney, Natasia spent nearly a decade working to maintain safe, affordable housing for low income New Yorkers, as well as to advance social and racial justice. Natasia holds a J.D./M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. from Harvard College.
Lillian Kwang
Lillian Kwang is a first-time member of Heat Seek’s Board of Directors. She is passionate about increasing sustainability via technology and is currently the Customer Success Lead at ClimateAI, a ClimateTech startup that helps companies make their supply chains more resilient. Lillian has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Business and a B.S. and B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Michael Restey Jr.
Michael is an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates, where his work focuses on complex commercial, securities and derivative litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the country. He also maintains an active pro bono practice focused primarily on asylum work. Michael received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, and his B.S. from the University of Maryland.
